Too F.U.N.N.Y. Today!
Well, Annie the senior goat doe and Amahl the very senior Sicilian Donkey had and all out brawl today. Man -- they were goin' at it tooth and nail. Wellll, urmmm ... hoof and head!
As I usually do I threw out afternoon hay around 3:00 or so - one pile being for Annie the goat and Amahl the donk to share. After all -- they share a stall, so why not a hay pile? Of Horses and Parenting
So I didn’t do a great job raising my kids. That’s obvious.
I never set consistent limits. I spoiled them and made things way too easy for them. I just wanted them to like me. My own insecurities and immaturity got in the way of good parenting.
I worry about making the same mistakes as a horse owner. I so want Jigs to like me. I have to remind myself not to over treat and to always expect the appropriate behaviors.

Yep, that's what it is -- K.I.S.S. = "Keep it simple, stupid." or so as Misty informed me today during a conversation I was having with her while driving down the highway.
I was asking her, "So, Misty -- what is going to help you in terms of herbs, medicines, etc. to feel better?"
Misty replied, "Hands ON! Hands ON! Hands ON! No massage, no acupressure, no acupuncture, no chiro -- KEEP IT SIMPLE. Just hands on!"
